Altitude Sickness

Altitude sickness is the  response to the lack of oxygen in the body. High altitude can affect any one it  start from the elevation of (2,500)meter high. The general symptoms of High altitude sickness nausea, loss of appetite, not getting sleep, shortness of breath etc. Altitude sickness can be prevented by rest which is adaption of body with the thin air. If  we start walking slowly and a same step everyday the body will adjust the height automatically. A person who has already climbed more than 6000 meter may have difficulties at lower altitude if he/her walk rapidly. Alcoholic drinks should not be taken by the de-hydrated peoples. It may risk of high altitude problems. A peoples’ must have a good acclimatization and drinks more fluid, it  helps to makes yours body hydrated. 4 liters of water  or more is usually necessary to drinks.

  • Nausea
  • Loss of Appetite
  • Weakness
  • Irregular breathing, more in sleeping time
  • Not getting sleep
  • Dizzy
  • Swelling of Hands and Face
