Overview
Tamang Heritage is an amazing newly opened trekking routes located north to Kathmandu. It is off-beaten trek that offers visitors to explore the old lifestyle and culture of Tamang people. This trek follows trails that you walk through beautiful villages with scenic views of white snow-Capped mountains Mount Ganesh Himal Ranges, Mount Langtang. Gatlang is known as the ancient village of Tamang settlements where you can explore the 100 years old Monastery and visit sacred pond Parvati Kunda where people believe that Hindu Lord Goddess Parvati took bath in this pond.
On this trekking you will see Stunning views of the Himalayas like Mount Lirung, Mount Langtang Ranges, Mount Jugal Himal, Mount Ganesh Himal Ranges,etc. You will walk inside of Langtang National Park. Almost everyday you walk through Rhododendron, Oak and Pine forest passing the stunning waterfalls, terrace fields and beautiful villages explore beautiful valley of Glaciers .
This trekking start from the scenic jeep drive from Kathmandu to Syabru-Besi, heading to Gatlang. Gatlang is an old village of Tamang settlement, you can explore their lifestyles. following next days you continue walking to Tatopani (Hot spring),then walking to Nagthali, you will walk to Nagthali view point, one of the best view point in Nepal, you can see majestic mountain views of Mount Langtang Ranges, Ganesh Himal Ranges, Mount Langtang, Mount Dorje Lakpa etc and Tibetan Kerung Border, After breakfast you will walk to Bridim a tamang village walking further langtang Valley Trekking to Kyanjin-Gompa. You will go to Explore Cheese factory an old monastries at Kyanjin gompa and stay overnight at Kyanjin Gompa. Next Day you will descend back to Lama-Hotel, Syabru- Besi take a Jeep/Bus to Kathmandu
